Yes I know I already have a blog. But that one is specifically for my rants and opinions on The Toronto BlueJays. This one however is just random views on whatever. Or if Jill wants us to discuss something. I'm also thinking on creating other blogs for my other interests so stay tuned.
Anyways today we are suppose to discuss podcasting and the examples that were shown in class. Well the first one we listened to was an aboriginal girl talking about how her mother doesn't care for her like a mother should or something. The girl said that just because her mother went to a residential school doesn't mean that it should effect her as a person. I found this to very naive of the girl and ignorant. The girl as no idea how terrible of a childhood that her mother had. Yes I know the girl has dealt with hardships of her own such as being raped when she was sixteen. But for her to feel that her mother should just forget her past and become a good parent is just crazy. Maybe I'm missing the point...I don't know. Anyways the two of them in the end forgive each other and everything is A.O.K.
For now.
The other podcast was yet another lady dealing with an online scam. She basically just told the story of her encounter with a scammer and how she dealt with it. I liked this one because listening to it felt like some old timey radio mystery show. It had this intensity to it where you didn't really know what was going to happen next. Again I think I might be missing the point on this story as well but I was entertained. And isn't that what podcasting is all about?
So as I mentioned (or did I?) this blog will be for random entries. Stuff I find interesting in life I will post here. I more then likely will create a music, movie, and v-game blog in the coming future. When I don't know. So keeping popping back. Before you know it you will know all about me.
