Our Adventure At A Popular Subway Shop...

I like subs. Especially from a certain franchise. Which I won't say, but I'm sure you will figure it out.

A week or two ago the little lady and I stopped in at one of the many sub shops here in town. There was a small line consisting of two females. Now I don't know if they knew the sub artist but they seemed to be very chatty and flirty. This was fine at first even though they were considerably loud. I kind of zoned out thinking how much a nice cold cut was going to taste when the little lady noticed that we had been standing there for almost fifteen minutes. I disagreed with her at first, brushing it aside that she was just hungry.

Then I realized she was right. No make it worst the girls had only moved down to the part where they toast the subs. wow.

We grew considerably frustrated as you could imagine. What made things more painful the sub artist wasn't even trying to speed things up. Thankfully we were not in any hurry. But that's not the point. The point is leave your gossip and flirting for after work. Or at least when there is no other customers. Finally he served us but he still continued to chat to the girls as they sat down. In a way I don't really want to go back to that particular store. These people could have waited until we were done ordering to continue to talk. The conversation was not urgent to talk about.

We were not eavesdropping, that's just how loud they were talking.

I wish I was more outspoken to strangers as I would have said something. The little lady kept mumbling under her breath but they never heard...or chose to ignore her.

As of this moment I vow not to go to that store. Mark my words.
